I enjoyed the writing; I appreciate how the book trusts the reader (it doesn’t outright tell you everything that happens and leaves it up to you to figure out), though at times it might not have worked for me because I didn’t have the brain cells. I might read the sequel because I want to see the writing grow but I most likely will leave these alone.
